FABRIZIO MUSA
Fabrizio Musa, (Como 1971) lives and works between Como and New York. Since his artistic debut, in the second half of the nineties, he has contaminated the more traditional painting techniques with new technologies. A long-time investigator of digital art, the artist coined the term "Scanner Art" to define the particular procedure with which he creates his works. Using the scanner, Musa transforms his photographs into txt files (text only), obtaining a reduction in the definition of the image, subsequently reinterpreted manually through a black and white painting, with rare hints of other colors. The working method of Fabrizio Musa, contemplates a plurality of techniques and has on several occasions been linked to architecture.
